We keep what you sent us to consider you for the roles you applied for. If you are not hired, it is deleted twelve months after your application closes. How we use it.

How we hire
What happens after you apply
The same steps for every role, so you always know where you are. You can see where your application stands at any time in My applications.

Received
We read every application ourselves, usually within a week. A CV with links to things you have built helps us most.

Under review
For internships, a short assessment you do in your own time, before any interview. For engineering roles, we go through the code and work you link to. We tell you exactly what we look for.

Interview
A video call with the people you would work with. Bring questions: it is your interview of us too.

Offer
If it is a match, an offer by email that you accept online, then a short form so we can set you up for your first day.
If it is not a match, we tell you by email. Your application then shows as Closed.

How we use your application
Appnable Ltd (registered in England, No 09270645) is responsible for what you send us here. We handle it under the UK GDPR and, for applicants in Nigeria, the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
What we keep
Your name, email address, phone number, where you live, your CV, the links you give, your answers to the role's questions, the notes and scores of the people who review your application, and what the checks below point out.
Why
To consider you for the roles you apply for, with your consent, which you give when you send your application. We do not use it for anything else, and we never sell it or share it outside Appnable, except with the people who help us run our systems (Microsoft, for email and storage, and Anthropic, whose AI does the checks below; for a closer look at some shortlisted applications, a second AI, Google's, reached through OpenRouter, checks what the first one found).
If you applied through LinkedIn or another job site, we bring the CV and details you sent there into our system so we can consider you for that role, and ask for your consent when you finish your application here. Until then we only read it for that role. If you never finish, it is deleted twelve months after it reached us.
Who sees it
The people hiring for the role, and the people who review applications for it. A person always decides.
How we check applications
To help us read applications fairly and carefully, an AI assistant compares your CV with what you tell us here, with the public parts of the GitHub account and portfolio you link to, and, if we save it, your public LinkedIn profile. It points out anything that does not line up, so we can ask you about it. It never decides, it never rejects anyone, and it does not look at your age, sex, religion, ethnicity or any other personal characteristic. If something is raised, you will have the chance to explain.
How long
If you are hired, your application becomes part of your staff record. If you are not, it is deleted twelve months after your application closes.
Your rights
You can see what you sent in My applications, change your CV or withdraw at any time, and ask us to delete your data there. You can also email careers@appnable.com to ask for a copy, a correction or deletion, or to withdraw your consent.
